Overview

The IC755ACCBATTNL is a Replacement battery pack in the Quickpanel range from GE. It is part of GE's industrial automation product portfolio.

Application & Technical Notes

As a replacement battery pack, the IC755ACCBATTNL is intended for deployment in panel-based control cabinets and machine enclosures where the GE product portfolio equipment is installed. It performs a defined automation function within the control system and is selected to match the installed GE platform.

Specific electrical and mechanical ratings depend on the exact configuration and suffix of the part; the original datasheet should be consulted for the definitive specification.

Maintenance & Diagnostics

Inspect terminals and connectors for corrosion or looseness, and confirm the module seats correctly in its carrier. Always de-energise the circuit and follow lock-out/tag-out before handling; refer to the official instruction bulletin for service procedures.

Sourcing & Procurement

When sourcing the IC755ACCBATTNL, distinguish three supply tiers: (1) genuine GE stock from an authorised distributor; (2) compatible equivalents or surplus/NOS (new-old-stock) from third parties; (3) alternative parts offering equivalent function. Genuine supply carries the full warranty and traceability; compatible or alternative items may be cheaper but should be validated for form, fit, firmware and certification before use in a live system. PLCXpert publishes this page as an independent reference and does not sell the part — verify every claim with the manufacturer or your distributor.

Confirm mechanical and electrical compatibility with your GE product portfolio installation and the intended function. Lead times and pricing vary by region and lifecycle status; obtain a current quote from an authorised channel rather than relying on stale listings.

Specifications

The GE Fanuc IC755ACCBATTNL pack is a replacement battery pack for 10, 12, and 15-inch Quickpanel+ terminals. Only the IC755ACCBATTNL pack should be used for replacing batteries on these Quickpanel+ units.

Description

NoteThe IC755ACCBATTNL pack is a replacement battery pack for 10-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch Quickpanel+ industrial operator terminals from GE Fanuc. All of these Quickpanel+ terminals come with 512 KB of battery-backed SRAM which is used to store valuable data. The IC755ACCBATTNL pack can be used to replace the pre-installed batteries on the terminals which degrade over time due to repeated charging and discharging and which eventually become unable to provide backup power to the SRAM for the appropriate amount of time. Batteries on the different terminals should only be replaced with the IC755ACCBATTNL pack. The 7 screws on the back cover of the terminal need to be removed before the battery can be replaced. Then the back cover needs to be released by gently pressing on either side of the tab. After that, the back cover can be removed by lifting it up. After performing the above-mentioned steps, the old battery will be exposed. This coin battery can then be removed and replaced with a new one from the IC755ACCBATTNL pack battery while taking care to ensure that the new battery is installed with the correct polarity. Finally the back cover can be replaced and the screws can be tightened to secure it in place. Faulty batteries should be disposed of as per local and state regulations. To minimize the risk of fire and explosions, these lithium coin batteries should not be crushed, disassembled, short-circuited, or disposed of in a fire. The replacement activity should be only be performed by experienced and trained technical personnel in a non-hazardous location.
