Overview

The IC755ACC12PRO is a Set of 3 replacement screen protectors in the Quickpanel range from GE. It is part of GE's industrial automation product portfolio.

Application & Technical Notes

As a set of 3 replacement screen protectors, the IC755ACC12PRO is intended for deployment in panel-based control cabinets and machine enclosures where the GE product portfolio equipment is installed. It performs a defined automation function within the control system and is selected to match the installed GE platform.

Key published characteristics include an operating temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. These values should be confirmed against the current manufacturer datasheet before final selection, as options and suffixes vary by configuration.

Maintenance & Diagnostics

Respect the published operating temperature window (0 to 55 degrees Celsius); do not exceed it during commissioning or in enclosed panels without airflow. For storage and transit, keep the unit within -10 to 60 degrees Celsius. Inspect terminals and connectors for corrosion or looseness, and confirm the module seats correctly in its carrier. Always de-energise the circuit and follow lock-out/tag-out before handling; refer to the official instruction bulletin for service procedures.

Sourcing & Procurement

When sourcing the IC755ACC12PRO, distinguish three supply tiers: (1) genuine GE stock from an authorised distributor; (2) compatible equivalents or surplus/NOS (new-old-stock) from third parties; (3) alternative parts offering equivalent function. Genuine supply carries the full warranty and traceability; compatible or alternative items may be cheaper but should be validated for form, fit, firmware and certification before use in a live system. PLCXpert publishes this page as an independent reference and does not sell the part — verify every claim with the manufacturer or your distributor.

Confirm mechanical and electrical compatibility with your GE product portfolio installation and the intended function. Lead times and pricing vary by region and lifecycle status; obtain a current quote from an authorised channel rather than relying on stale listings.

Specifications

The IC755ACC12PRO set from GE Fanuc is a set of 3 replacement screen protectors. The IC755ACC12PRO set can be used with Quickpanel+ units with 12-inch displays.

Description

NoteThe GE Fanuc IC755ACC12PRO set is a set of 3 replacement screen protectors for 12-inch Quickpanel+ displays. The Quickpanel+ terminal is an industrial operator interface terminal which is a microcomputer based on the ARM microprocessor and it supports a touchscreen display and multiple communication options. The recommended sequence of steps for installation of one of the IC755ACC12PRO screen protectors on to the touchscreen display are as follows. First, the protective film should be removed from the Quickpanel+ terminal screen, the display should be cleaned of dust and fingerprints, the IC755ACC12PRO screen protector's backing sheet should be peeled away, the application of the IC755ACC12PRO screen protector should start from the corner of the Quickpanel+ display screen, and then the rest of the IC755ACC12PRO screen protector should be applied and smoothed over. The touchscreen and its protector should not be operated with hard or blunt objects because doing so can damage the display. To prevent equipment damage and personal injury, it should be ensured that the DC power supply to the Quickpanel+ unit is switched off and that the leads are not energized before they are connected to the power plug on the Quickpanel+ unit. The dimensions of the 12-inch Quickpanel+ units are 314 x 248 x 65 millimeters. The unit weight is approximately 3 kilograms per terminal. A panel cutout measuring 302 x 228 millimeters is required for the installation of the 12-inch Quickpanel+ terminals. The ambient operating temperature range is from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius and the ambient storage temperature range is from -10 to 60 degrees Celsius. The maximum relative humidity level that is tolerable is 85%. The Quickpanel+ units should not be installed at altitudes in excess of 2000 meters.
